Bellevue is a modern city located about 11 miles (17 km) east of Seattle. Weather in June and July tends to be sunny and pleasantly warm (average highs 18-25°C, 65-80°F). Neither unpleasantly cold nor hot weather are common during the Summer months. Weather forecast.

Things to see and do Visitor pages for Seattle and Bellevue offer a huge variety of things to see and do. Here are just a few examples: Get a panoramic view of Seattle from the 520 foot-high observation deck of the Space Needle, watch the fish-throwers at Pike Place Market, visit Seattle's Experience Music Project | Science Fiction Museum's Battlestar Galactica exhibit, catch the Boeing Tour at the Future of Flight, take a sunset dinner cruise (for example, Argosy Cruises or Waterways Cruises), or hike in the Mt. Rainier National Park area.

Travel Visa Attendees from many countries will need a visa or other forms travel authorization for entry into the USA. US visa rules can be complex, please check the regulations as they apply to you in advance. Registered participants should contact the organizers for letters of invitation if they need one.

Cell phones from other countries will typically require tri- or quad-band capability to work (850MHz and 1900MHz bands are used).
