The program at ICML is made possible by the hard work of a large number of people who contribute their expertise to this process. Reviewers carefully read and assess papers, provide critical feedback to authors, and provide an appraisal of the papers' strengths. Meta-reviewers work with reviewers to reach a decision through discussion and deliberation, and who write meta-reviews to authors that highlight the most salient points. Senior Meta-Reviewers (97) co-ordinate and calibrate the Meta-Reviewer recommendations, and are involved with the peer review and decision process in the more difficult and unusual situations.
